FDsG - Tour Guy Project Guidelines

Scope of Project

Please read this page carefully.  These guidelines are in addition to the general swap box guidelines.  A tour guy is a character who travels around to club members to visit their Diva dolls.  It is often used in stories and/or photos to be shared with the club. Stories are not required. Your sharing can be photoshoots.
 
Business

* The tour doll is an adult-only project.  This project is not for child's play.  If you have children, you are responsible for keeping the doll out of their reach.  You will be responsible for replacement cost if damaged while in your care. 

* Important:  Take before and after close-up pics of the doll.  One when it arrives and one when it leaves.  This will protect your interest in case of damage.  Otherwise, you will be responsible for damage if you cannot prove both conditions.

* An inventory list of items is enclosed. Check the inventory after he arrives. If you notice missing items or damage report it to Dolla via fashiondollswap-owner@yahoogroups.com.

* No large or expensive items allowed on this Tour.  We want to keep the shipping weight low.

* Smoking Environments:  Do not allow the doll to be in the same room with smoke.  Put your contribution(s) in a sealed bag with dryer sheets or similarly perfumed freshener sheets.   Be sure these sheets are not in contact with the face of the doll.  Place them behind the doll rather than in front. 

* Do not alter the doll in any way.

Fun

* You may keep the box for two (2) to three (3) weeks after receiving it.  If you need to keep it longer, please let us know by posting to the club.

* While you have the tour doll, write a story or take pics of him with your dolls to share with the group. We want to see him in action. 

* Lastly, adding to the gear is not mandatory.  But in good faith, you get to play with our things, we'd like to play with yours.  We understand if you cannot afford a lot.  Anything added is appreciated.  Some ideas are pillows, shirt, pants, shoes, jewelry, musical instrument, sunglasses, blanket or throw, clipboard, beverages, microphone, telephone, beverage, cosmetics, swimwear, radio, etc.

Preparation for Travel

* If there are items in a sealed bag when the box arrives, return them to the bag when you pack him up.

* Initial and check off the inventory items before you send him on to make sure everything is there.  Any items you wish to add to the kit, please add to the inventory list and check them off.  Remember to take pics as proof of quality when you sent him on.

* When you are ready to mail the box to the next person, post to the list to get the next name and address.

* Mandatory. Delivery confirmation is required. Insurance is optional.  When you have mailed the box, please post to the club with the delivery confirmation number.
